Notes from the co-op parking lot

Hanging out in the car in the parking lot of the Mt Vernon co-op while Rinn goes in to shop. We figure it’s better to only expose one of us, minimizing risk. There’s a line out front to limit the number of people let inside at a time, chalk lines drawn on the ground to indicate proper waiting distances.

Is there maybe a positive aspect here in our having to thoughtfully consider what food to buy and when? What will last? What will we *need* over the next x number of days, rather than impulse buying? Then there’s the reduced environmental impact of us all staying in more. And finally maybe we’re better off for a little quiet contemplation at home, catching up on reading, baking, crafts, whatever.

Stay safe Selfs!
